About LUSCOS
Welcome to the home of Leeds United Supporters Club of Scandinavia! Our 3.000 members strong branch is proud to be the biggest individual Leeds-branch in the World, and we aim to grow even bigger.
In addition to our website, we create ”The Peacock News” – our self-produced magazine which goes out to our members six times per season. The A5-sized, 108-pages big magazine contains match summaries, news-stories and interviews with players and supporters in our own language. We also encourage and help our members to travel to see the team ”live”, as well as organising fan-meetings locally when matches are screened on TV. Our branch also competes with other supporters clubs of British clubs in an annual football-tournament in Oslo!
We are currently a branch of LUSC.

History
Our branch was first founded back in August 1980, then as LUSCON (LUSC Of Norway). The founders, Thorbjørn Lerfald and Arild Bekken, started it all by printing A4-papers with basic news from Elland Road, and quickly reached a couple of hundred members across Norway. The letters to the members was especially in demand while Leeds United struggled at the second highest level in England, meaning little news came through the media to the fans up north.
LUSCON became LUSCOS as supporters in Sweden and Denmark also got to hear of the branch. Over the years the number of members increased, and was above the 4.000-mark as Leeds enjoyed their spell in the Champions League in 2001. Two relegations and a few turmoils later, we have lost a few on the way – but still has around 3.000 members!
